WinAmp mp3 player

You can convert to.wav in WinAMp.

Choose menu (left corner player)
Choose visualization
Select plug-in
Choose output

choose diskwriter plug-in
choose configure and set parameters
Push playbutton on winamp player

......converting.........
done load .wav file in set directory

Don't forget to reset winamp to
Nullsoft Wave-out Plug-In (Visulization/plug-in/output/

If you are already using a file sharing program to download music. Do a search for Easy CD-DA Extractor. This program will rip Cd's to mp3 and it will decode them back to a wav file. BTW: it is very fast.

I found the problem

ennis. I was also unsuccessful in burning this file to cd. The error msg states that it is not in the correct format & that must be recorded as 16 bit stereo files, 44.1 kHZ, blah blah ...

Well, the file in question is a mono recording. You can learn this by right clicking the title window in Winamp when the song is playing.

This is not a copyright issue nor a file type issue. I don't know if there is a way to encode mp3's from mono to stereo. But I belive that somehow you will need a stereo version of this song. Good Luck--Jack.
