If you are already using a file sharing program to download music. Do a search for Easy CD-DA Extractor. This program will rip Cd's to mp3 and it will decode them back to a wav file. BTW: it is very fast.
I found the problem
ennis. I was also unsuccessful in burning this file to cd. The error msg states that it is not in the correct format & that must be recorded as 16 bit stereo files, 44.1 kHZ, blah blah ...Well, the file in question is a mono recording. You can learn this by right clicking the title window in Winamp when the song is playing.
This is not a copyright issue nor a file type issue. I don't know if there is a way to encode mp3's from mono to stereo. But I belive that somehow you will need a stereo version of this song. Good Luck--Jack.
