Too bad you can't ride them more than 50 miles before they fall apart.

Yeah, that was the one he built on the show. The only problem he had was the seat fell off and he had rocker arm problems with a motor he bought from someone else. Discovery Channel is giving away one of his bikes in a contest. The contest only goes for 3 days and the bike's estimated value is 80K. Wow!

Give me the ricer so I know Ill get there then Ill cruze around on that. Not all of us are fortunate enough to have a truckload of tools to follow us whenever we ride.

Okay, the bike held up. The after market engine did not! Takes ***** and a deep commitment to your abilities to build a bike, jump on it and ride 1400 miles non-stop without breaking in the motor or running gear. Maybe not worth 60k but still impressive.
Anyone notice that in the first show, he was barely able to pay his employee's, and now he was rolling in dough. Looks like the Discovery Channel did him a huge favor of free advertisement. Figure people buying his creations waste that much money over a weekend in Vegas. Out of reach for the working class, at least me. I did however spend 19k on a Softail Custom in 1999, and since added a number of HP toys, and would not be afraid to get on and ride into the sunset. It's a Harley thing and ricers just don't understand. And yes, I had the speed itch in my younger days and so 'been there, done that'!

Yea the bike did hold up. Not sure if thats your first scooter or have had many but have you ever had a frame or wheels or something of that nature on a street bike break ? I havent, ***** yes I agree I never took that away from him. I just said I would rather have rice for the dependability. As you said "been there dont that" yes I have. I just sold my softail. But I like the HD's for the cruzing and to polish on and make it shine. But when we go a thousand miles or two I like the rice for comfort and dependability. Yes I still like to go fast so thats why there are needs for multi bikes.

As for Jesse James, I have heard of him for a while now. He builds some beutiful bikes. But he could change some colors. The blue with puke green flames was kinda funky. Theres my 8 or 10 cents.

Oddly enough, the only bike I have that has ever left me stranded for mechanical reasons was my ricer. My HD, even my OLD brit bikes never left me stranded. Sorry but I don't buy into this rice worshiping and their superior reliability. It's all in the maintenance and common sense. I love all my bikes, they all have their good and bad points.

Wildchild, how do you like that new Triumph. There are a couple that ride with us on or brit bike runs. I'd have to say that there are a few older Bonnies that can keep up with some of the newer rides.

Check my sig for my current rides.

You guys see Shaqs bike? That thing was bad@$$. It was huge. As he said it even made him feel small. I need to get one of those. But for 60Gs I can get a really good used Viper.
