Question Question.

What does the letters "LOL" mean? I've seen it in posts after a sentence or word, but I cannot figure what it means. Any help?

Common chat lingo

In chat we have a bunch of commonly used abbreviations which I'm frequently asked about. I'll list them here as I see them on other boards & in emails & just about anywhere I go on the net.

wb = welcome back
yw = you're welcome
ty = thank you
lol - laugh(ing) out loud
rofl = rolling on floor laughing
roflmao = rolling on floor laughing my butt off
roflmss = rolling on floor laughing myself silly
btw = by the way
oic = oh I see
OMG = oh my God
j/k = just kidding
b/f or g/f = boy or girl friend
brb = be right back
bbl = be back later
ttyl = talk to you later
l8r = later
2U2 = to you too
MOOF - Moo + woof (don't ask!) LOL!
TIA = thanks in advance - thanks WOLVERINE!
TTFN = Ta Ta for now! Thanks PBCrisis!
FYI = for your information - thanks hmustang!
IMHO = in my humble opinion
PITA = Pain in the butt
TMI = too much info
POS = piece of ***** OR POSITIVE if talking to Raoul!
PMS - pardon my stupidity - GOTCHA GUYS!
GM = Garbage in Motion (I like that!)
ROFPIMP = Rolling On Floor Peeing In My Pants - ty Raoul!
Tx = thanks - Tx fourhour!
I can't think of any others but if you can, feel free to add them! Hope this helps!
