Just got back from Wyoming last night. I spent a week out there with a friend and went skiing in Winter Park Colo, and did a little sledding and hung out and all that good stuff.

it snowed almost every day i was there. On the last day the powder was knee deep in some places. While my friend and I were going down the mountain, her little brother fell into some powder and he was almost completely buried. All we could see were the very tops of his shoulders and his head. But after we dug him out and found his skis it was allright.

it was pretty cool there. On the top of the mountain it was about -20 F, but as long as you're moving around it was fine. Luckily it wasn't windy at all.

The first night while we were driving back we had 6 deer encounters on the road. The first one was a herd of about 40 Elk crossing the road, then there were a few deer here and there running across the road. One froze in the headlights and we just barely missed it. Thank god for ABS and four wheel drives

 

I'm glad you had a good time - sounds like you enjoy the snow! If so, why not come out here & help us shovel out? LOL!
I'm also glad you had a safe trip - with all those deer it is a good thing you didn't hit any!
