Yeah, it's funny just how relative it is, Buffalo 82.5" and us 1.5". It took me almost and hour to get home tonight, only 5 miles. The Gwinnett police had a bridge over 85 blocked and were only letting one car at a time go over. Took forever. Gotta love Hotlanta!

Here's some advice!

Okay - you'd best HURRY & go brush the truck off so it doesn't get buried any worse! Look at what happened to mine in just 48 hours!
Next - I'll post my snow shoveling tips again in case you missed it last year. These are time proven techniques so you can trust them! LOL!
Hope your "storm" ends soon - be sure you stock up on food, batteries, toilet paper, bottled water - all the necessities! LOL!

That ain't no truck, it's a rolling Snowman!

I can remember a year in Chicago, when I was younger. It snowed for several-days straight, the snow was level with the top of the cars in the driveway. Great fun as a kid, pain in the a$$ as you get older :-)

Steve, forgot to tell you, I drove on your street when I was out in ATlanta! LOL. Actually my friends in ATlanta just called me to let me know about the snow too, pretty wild stuff!

Well, here in the Conyers/Covington area, it's pretty well established that we have a new breed of grass. It's white, has an overnight growth spurt of about 6 inches, and my dogs DO NOT like it at all! (You can take the dog outta California, but you can't take California outta the dog.)

I took some video of it this morning. Maybe later, once I figure out how to use the dang camcorder to take still pics and dl them to the puter, I will get some good pics of this new grass and see if any of ya'll want to get a seedling or two... or six... or all of it... As I am almost 9 mos pregnant, it will be quite hard for me to cut it back to a manageable height. I guess the mail will have to wait at the box for a few days! (With my luck, I'd go out there and slip on some ice and have the baby right there in the driveway!) But hey, the first beautiful thing she would see would be my bright red FORD!!!!!!!! Besides ME of course!

Steve,

The "snow" in those pictures look like the frost that accumulates on my truck overnight..... although, not this year...Jan. 3rd and still only one little storm that produced 4-5 inches and that was early last month.....not complaining mind you......

Wildchild

Tell me about the bad winter that we are having. Last year by this time, I had used the fourwheeler one heck of a lot to plow the snow, and now this year, I have used it once, when we got the 12 inches of snow back in November, then it decided to melt the following week. Oh well, looks like we are just going to have to move out by Cowlady.....I don't mind shoveling/ plowing....Infact I enjoy it.

We have about 2 inches of snow on the ground around Minneapolis, a little less in the north metro, a little more in the south metro, and a lot at the area skiing places.
I just hope that the snow we have stays around for my wedding on the 12 of January....I am going to be really mad if I have a BROWN wedding in the winter.

Yep, it's down here........

Warner Robins/Macon in middle Ga. About 3"s, got some 35mmm pics this am. Now, most of it has melted but temps are suppose to drop into the high teens tonight so guess what will be all over the roads tomorrow? Hope not me.........

Steve, where you here when middle Ga. got 18"s of snow--back in Feb. of 1973? That took a week or more to melt.

Dan

I got about 7inches up in Gainesville. I got out the old 89 4x4 and went and made some money taking advantage of the people who slid off the road. Hey the way I look at it is that it is helping them. I charge $30 when a wrecker charges $70 and im already there. O well im the one who made over three hundred bucks yesterday then get paid from work too. Can you say money for mods !
