18,000 plus members and still counting

My 'puter has been broken for a week or so; if someone else beat me to this, my apologies.

In any case, congratulations to Steve for another milestone and a continuing great web site and attendant message boards.

Wonder if anyone wants to make a bet on how fast we will hit the 20,000 member mark. It is growing so fast that I suspect we we will see that number before the end of January.
Any takers?
Bill

Thanks Bill!

Everytime that the member count hits a "0,000" I wonder where you are!

00000 count

Evening Steve:

Actually, I lurk on the main thread and sort of monitor the member count as it nears "X" thousand.

The site hit 18000 on Sunday, but as I had problems with my PC I could not acknowledge the number until yesterday.

Only three shopping days till Christmas, Steve, better get up to our store before everything is gone.

I wonder how old un-used member numbers are culled.

For instance, I have 3 (I keep two extra simply to have at least two votes of agreement to my posts -- grin) -- not due to any sinister reasons -- simply due to either computer or ISP changes.

Kidding aside -- this is my daily entertainment.

Thanks, Steve.

Thanks all!

Bill, in all honesty, I was planning on making a trip up to your store after the first of the year. We heard from a merchant in Roswell that he purchased some of the detail oriented stuff for his Department 56 display at a Hobbytown store. And since Christine (Wife) want to setup a more permanent display for her "Christmas in the City" you may see us soon.

BTW, since I am currently in Connecticut with my family, it will be tough for me to make it before Christmas.
