hunters and atv owners....
As most of you have guessed by now, I'm
an atv nut. Many would say I'm just a nut.
Here's the question. What is your favorite
mod to your ride. My personal favorite is
my lift kit. Second favorite would be the
K&N filter charger kit.

Can't say..
Trapper,
I can't say that I have any preformance mods done to my Polaris Xplorer 400 4x4, but I do have a winch and a plow. Those have been great mods here in snow country, something which we are lacking right now.
The winch has saved my butt many times out in the woods in swamps that were just a touch too deep. But then agian who would ever admit to getting stuck....Instead the usual story goes, well I was going, and it got really bad, but she kept going, and I made it through, but thought that I was going to hang up.
Personally, I like getting stuck, just shows me the limits of my machine....Or where the deep stuff is. If you are fimilar with the Polaris Xplorers, mine has the headlight pod on the handlebars, and I have had it completely buried up to the there in a peat swamp one time, winched it out, and it kept running great all day, no damage done.
