Smile My 1,000th post is dedicated to......

......people! Special people, ordinary people (no such thing really), people I don't know yet & all the people here!
I want to say thanks for always making me feel welcome & unafraid to ask a question (usually silly), offer opinions or just join in on a tpoic, even when I don't have much to offer.
I want to thank the webmaster - he puts up with me for reasons I can't explain! Neither can he! LOL!
To the members here who are fire or police officers a GREAT BIG thank you - since 9/11 all of us have a new found respect & undersatnding of what it takes to do what you do. I know I couldn't do it!
For all the vets & active military folks - this site is for youhttp://www.jacksonville.net/~lando/veterans.htm. With the holidays approaching we shouldn't forget all the men & women who won't be home this holiday in order to protect our homes! Again - thank you for doing what I can't!
Last but not least - to all the new friends I've made here - the ones I "bug" with all the emails I send & who don't get angry or who will write to me to let me know they care. When I joined this site I expected to learn about my truck - I NEVER expected to make lasting friendships in the process! There's a very special bunch here & I'm so glad I met you all!
BTW - I MADE IT! HURRAY!!!!!!!!

Congradulations, and thank you for thinking about the military and all the families who will not be here for the holidays. I know from person experience that we appriciate people back home think about us. I am currently in SC but have spent my fair share overseas and have wondered if anyone ever cared if we were missed. Once again thanks from the military, and thanks to the law enforcement and fire department folks for keeping us safe also.

I have found a new friend in you as well even though we've never met I know you are the kind of folk I can easily relate to.

Good and kind words you spoke and you always thank others for what they do to help you, no matter what. You are kind of like the F-150 Online Den Mother but don't get to excited.

Later,

DaveMan

Congratulations!

I haven't been here for a year yet and it feels like home (in the online sense).
From day one I remember seeing the cow picture on Cowlady's sig. I have had the opportunity to read posts (in bold)written by someone who is compassionate and caring, and an F150 enthusiast. It is reassuring to know that there are all these good people around this country of ours.

Cowlady, you are a big part of what makes F150 Online what it is.
You have earned this distinction. Be proud!

Tom

Yea, congratulations!
I remember your first few threads here asking about what kind of F150 you should get. You needed something dependable to get you to your ailing father's house and back. You would post "I found this one" or "I wanna buy this one", and we had to truthfully shoot them down inspite of your urgency. Even though we were strangers, you followed our advice and avoided getting taken by the idiot salesman who didn't even know a F150 wasn't available in a 4 cyl. You got the best Truck available with all of our blessings finally.
Then I remember the terrible news about your father, (bless his soul) and then your mother falling ill, but thankfully recovering, all while losing your job and being plagued by a lame exboyfriend.
We have all gone through it with you in our hearts as well as in the black and white letters we type out (one fingered for me) on the screen.
And look what we get in return:
Encouragement, Email, Enthusiasm, Empathy, Humour, and writings like THESE. (Did I mention email?)
What ever you've gone though, we supported you, and whenever some needed a few words or just an ear, you were there.
Thanks for the GRAND, and here's to your next one thousand posts!

Thumbs up

1000 posts is the indication of the truly dedicated(addicted) f150online member. Only a selected few(nuts) can reach this level of posts. I congratulate you for reaching this plateau, and hope you will continue to be such a helpful and productive member(too much time on your hands).

Sorry if I offended anyone, I was just telling it like it is. I have so many posts now, that I have thought about starting over like Don C. But I can't afford a Lightning for an excuse to do so We all love ya CL!!!!,,,,,98

My new bumper is in my signature pic, I wasn't sure if you had seen it yet
