Shocked...
I was shocked to learn that the F150 made the top 10 (replaced the Cavalier) for the most stolen vehicles in the United States. I would have thought with the passive anti-theft equipment on the trucks, that would have made them less likely, unless there are a lot of people out there that leave their trucks running, and unlocked. It also listed the Silverado as well, and that was number 6 I think....Just thought that I would share that information with you.
Plus, remember, most of the F150s out there are pre-1997, just punch out the wing window and you are in and running. Just like the top vehicle (don't know if it still is), but the Camry and Accord are high on the stolen list... numbers........
They will steal anything! About 10 years ago, one of my employees was driving a 67 Vega... you could not find a worse car to drive... yet it was the one stolen out of the employee parking lot while pickups and other autos were left untouched... go figure.

i figure that the reason that honda and toyota is on there twice is that all the ricers have to spend is on those stupid mods on those cars so they have to steal them.
hey my girlfreind has a cavalier, and if i was going to jail for stealing a car it would not be that one. i would not mind driving it around but not stealing. i dont think it is worth it to be locked up with Bubba for 10 years and always worry about my back being to the wall
