a few days ago I had a tootache...this was saturday...anyways saturday night it hurt a bit, then stopped...sunday it would hurt,,,but if I brushed my teeth or held pop or water against it it would stop, then 10 mins later start again...anyways I went ot bed sunday wit ha ice pack against my mouth, monday I woke up and it didnt hurt, and hasnt hurt since....I thought bout getting it pulled, but think I will wait to see if it hurts again...it could have just been something stuck in my gum or tooth or something.. anyone else hasa tooth ache then just stop?

It could be something as simple as a cavity and will cost very little to get drilled and filled. If you let it go, there's a chance that you'll need a root canal done. The good news is, endodontists can do the root canal in one visit. Bad news is, it will require more visits to a dentist to put a permanent cap on the tooth. The worst news is, the whole process can cost upwards of $1,000, depending on the dentists.

Get to your dentist asap. The sooner you go, the cheaper it will be to fix.

 

Use some Orajel. Its a topical aenesthetic. It will help the pain a little.

And do as Dennis says, get to the dentist.
