Thumbs up CFL 2001 Grey Cup

I just can't believe my team is going! I'm a HUGE Calgary Stampeder fan, and am just amazed at how well they've put it all together for the playoffs after such a up and down season. It's going to be a Calgary Stampeder v.s. Winnipeg Blue Bombers matchup for final championship game. Although Winnipeg is heavily favored having a 14-4 season, and Calgary only having a 8-10 season, the Stampeders seem to play at there best when there the underdog. They seem to be going for that element of surprise attack. 6 more days till the big game! I just can't wait. GO STAMPS GO!!!

Hey there Bomber fan! I was just looking at the stats of the last game for Winnipeg and Calgary. Khari Jones was only 9 for 28 with 154 yards passing against Hamilton, but Marcus Crandell was 22-28 for 323 yards passing against Edmonton. Coarse the Bombers defense is better then the Eskimoes, but they couldn't get the job done the last game of the season against us.

A taste of things to come!

Sorry to spoil your game stamper but Crandell was 27-43 with 4 interceptions. Jones was 18-36 with one interception in the last game that they saw each other
Plus Winnipeg used alot of their second string in that game. How about the 48-20 Winnipeg win earlier in the year?

It should make for a great game on Sunday though

A big SORRY to the 'Peggers, but I think that Calgary is the stronger team. What I don't understand is how and why Hamilton choked. They should have been going to the Grey Cup.

This isn't to sound hostile or anything, but the stats I was refering to was from the western and eastern finals. I didn't see many second string players for Winnipeg. And Stegall can't make that much of a difference, and plus we were missing Moore. I'd say the Stamps have definitely improve from the very first game of the season. It should be a gooder!

You live where? Oh, Toronto! If you really think the Stamps are the stronger team... I guess we'll find out Sunday.

HHHHMMM - no reply from our US neighbours on this one. I guess they still think you only need one hundred yards, narrow field and four downs to make a feetball game - EH!!

I guess no interest in the great Canadian Fooseball League championship. Any niners fans recognize that goofy looking guy in the pic above?

Hence the reason why they finished first in the "regular" season. But that don't mean nutding in the playoffs amigo! This is the "new" season, with one extra game up on ya. I'm just glad were the underdogs this year, because even the HUGELY favored teams in the CFL aren't guaranteed to be the victor.

I don't think Hamilton would have won the Grey Cup, I just think they should have been there.

It doesn't matter where I live, Calgary will still win.

WOW! Did you say that Canada actually has a football league? Kidding, just a friendly jab at our friends who think their game is harder.

Heyyyyyyyy director.

How many points would I have to give you to get 20-1 odds? Stampeders are going to win. They have to, I have a new hat, shirt, beer mug and shot glass. All Stamps.

I'm pulling for Calgary, seeing as they dumped our hometown heroes last week
