Clunk?

OK, here's the sceniro. I'm driving down the road and slow down to make a turn. I make the turn and then when I get back on the gas a little I hear a slight clunk. Sounds like it's coming from under the hood or in that area. I only hear the noise under this sceniro. Anybody got any ideas. Is this normal or should I go back to the dealer on this?
My truck is a 2001 F-150 Extended Cab 4x4 with the ORP. 5.4L engine with the 3:55 LS rear end. 2,500 miles.
Please help. Thanks.

they love it when the trucks (and cars) break down. Even if they don't get money from you they will get some from ford for the work.

???

So has anybody heard of this or problem or precieved problem?
I just want an honest answer on whether I should worry about this enough to take it back to the dealer.

DRC:

The Lightnings have had a 'clunk' when turning since 1999. The 'fix' is to apply a heavy grease to a 'button' on the rear of the lower control arm--it contacts a 'rub' spot on the backing plate--grease goes on both spots and keeps the clunk quiet for a few months. D/K if any of this applies to your model truck--hope so?
