Was talking to my sales rep about this when I was in for last oil cahnge. Its just an appearance package. Same rims for 2wd and 4x4. $500 canadian for the package and you get the rims, leather wrapped steering wheel, wood trim dash and I think some other small stuff. Pretty sweet deal.

 

It didn't look like the fx4 I saw at my dealer. I saw it come in on the semi and it looked real good, even had the fx4 decals. From what I understand, the fx4 has:

17-inch cast aluminum wheels with exposed lug nuts
Rancho branded shocks
FX4 decals and new dark shadow gray accents
Three skid plates
3.55 axle
P265/70R17 outline white letter tires

 

i have a 2002, but it no fx4. ill prolly get those wheels for it

 

there was a post a few weeks ago saying that the shocks are just regular shocks that rancho let ford put their name on, but theyre not real rancho shocks. i have no idea how much truth there is to that rumor, though.

 

That pis is not a FX4. It is the XTR package. For starteres the FXR has the other grill(much better looking) and different wheels.
