Flu season, don't forget to duck
Yesterday, I saw a guy with a huge nose ring thru one nostril. I don't know much about piercing but, wouldn't that require a huge hole?
Now, if he should remove the ring, suffer from head congestion and uses a hankie over his nostrils when he blows...
I'm sorry but, he don't know where that stuffs going.

No.. it's probably a very small hole. The actual post going through his nose would be very very small diameter. It's the head of the jewellery that is large. Nose and upper ear piercings, because they're cartilage, are much harder to stretch than earlobe, lip, etc. So instead of using a large post, there's a small post that goes through the actual hole, with large ornamentation on the end.
A friend of mine had a stud in her nose... she sneezed once. Heh... the stud flew across the room. Gross, but funny!

I've got more important things to worry about than somebody else piercing their body. I just wondered about the hygiene aspect of no ring and no acceptable rubber stopper in place.
As far as I know, the guys wife did that to him to keep him home (physically).

Must have been a helluva wreck! I'm sure they'll fix you up good as new... and I don't even know what a 'labret' is or whether I have two of them.

a labret is a piercing about 1/2" below the lower lip.
I can't have my eyebrow done anymore because of my job,(well I'm actually laid off but that's another story). Most casinos frown upon piercings because your in the public eye. The one that I work for is not quite as restrictive though, will allow ears but eyebrows have to have a bandage over them if there pierced. I would love to have my nose and eyebrow done but I have to keep it conservative. Would get my tongue done but I'm alittle scared of the pain. Everybody tells me that the upper ear hurts worse then your tongue though. Nipples will be next on my list. That really hurts I guess
Upper ear hurts like a... like a thing that really hurts a lot. i've been told that the tongue hurts briefly and then it's over. Nipples depend a lot on how sensitive they are. Luckily my work is relaxed about eyebrow rings

- HHHMMM - I understand that if your body is pierced - GOD VOIDS the warranty!!
