Question Power Windows are slow

I thought I remember reading this somewhere but cannot find any threads to it....

The Power Windows in my F150 go down very slow.. The drivers side actually stops and I have to keep pressing the button to get it to go down sometime... I have noticed though that when it rains, they seem to work fine...

Anybody else seen this and have suggestions on what to do to cure it?

Thanks!!

could be a bad electrical connection, or the gears in the motor are worn and need to be replaced. Worn teeth on the gears are a common scenario.

I had a similar problem until I sprayed the tracks with silicone
spray. They work fine now. I just recoat every other couple of
weeks.

will try spraying with silicon

I will try the silicon suggestion!! I really think it has to do with the track being dry or something cause they seem to work fine in the rain....

Thanks!!
