Has anyone seen this F-150 concept?

I wonder if the 2003 will take any styling cues from this vehicle?

I got this picture from a post made at F150World. Here is the site the picture came from http://www.fedrelandsvennen.no/tema/...kgrounds5.html

I hope that whoever posted that did not try to pass it off as a new concept vehicle....that is a picture of the Triton concept that ultimately led to the 1997 to present F150...that picture is going on about six years old at this point.

If that is true then ford needs to start aiming for changes in that direction. I dont know but that truck looks real tough! I would trade my 97 in a heartbeat.

I have never seen that pic before, of course at the time it was concieved I had no hope of affording a late model truck I'd buy one of those in a second! It does look a little like a Dakota, maybe Dodge used that for a styling idea? hehehehe,,,,,98

That is a great looking truck! Yeah, the hood and grille is attached just like the Dodge's, which I don't really care much for, but looks grrrrrrreat! They should make the new F-150's exactly like the Triton concept. I think I'd have to pick one up!

Angry Why?

I have always wondered why they didn't produce the 150 exactly like that. Use your immagination, and picture it as a Supercab - Flair side... I love those rims.

That would have put Chevy and Dodge out of business.

Damn that is an awesome looking truck! I'd trade my truck for that too! Hopefully thats what the '03's will be like! One more thing, I'll take mine in a flareside of course!

Aside from the Jeep like looking headlights and as noted above, the grill-hood, I like it, not a huge change like 96 to 97, modified/refined just right. Even if it was designed 5+ years ago, it still can be used for the next model F-150. Even in my color and style(w/ the exception of flareside).

Cool Concept F-150 from 1995

Here is a side and rear shot of the truck at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan.
