How to obtain x plan these days, can anyone generate a pin anymore?

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I was in the market for a new car (since 2004 for my Lightning), and I used to work at a company that I could get an X-plan pin for, but it does not look like my current company offers x-plan pricing. Is it possible for someone else to generate an x-plan for someone else, can they be shared? I am talking to a dealer that advertised a car (2018 leftover) for 6K off, but when I went to the dealership they said that's if your a vet, or firefighter, or recent grad, etc, but did mention if I could get an x plan pin.

Thank you!

John

You could buy 100 shares of Ford common stock and wait 6 months.

I was told by the local RAM dealer that end of the year discounts far exceed the x plan discount. I was looking at a new RAM sticker price of $50k that was discounted to $40k and later $38k. Yeah, part of that was if you had a competitor truck which I did, $1000, and letting them finance it, $500. May have been more qualifiers.

Where it's at is A, Z or D plan. If you can get it under one of those, you are good.

Luckily for me, I have a friend that works at a local dealer that is willing to use the D plan on my next purchase down the road.

Basically the D plan is nearly identical to the A plan.

The X plan is OK if you need a car right now, and can't wait for the end-of-year deals.
