Post If You have a Moment....

A lot of you responded to my post regarding the do-it-yourself type of automotive garage. I've put together a short survey and would like some people to fill it out. It can take as little as a minute or can take longer if you're willing to give good feedback on the open-ended questions. So if you have a moment, visit..

Thanks for your time and regardless of if you fill out the survey, your previous comments were much appreciated!

AWESOME idea!

I just filled out the survey! Judging from the thought you put into that alone I'd say the actual idea itself will succeed! Best of luck - keep us posted! Oh - a good location if youcan manage it would be near a parts store so you can open an account & offer discounts/delivery for those using your garage!

Hey All

Yeah, we will definately hope to develop an agreement with a local parts store. We've gotten a lot of feedback with regards to Liability issues. I assure everyone this is at the forefront of our planning and a serious issue we're trying to work with. Right now we're investigating the use of Assumption of Risk or Waver of liability forms. We don't know if this is even a possible solution but we hope so. We get nothing but positive feedback so I hope we can make it work. If we can, everyone can expect a franchise near you. hehe

I'm in!

If you do go the franchise route, let me know!

Cool

I think that sounds like a great idea, but its not the customers that you'll have to do the convincing of whether its safe or not. You'll pretty much have to get down on your knees and pray to a lender to help you get that place started. After all, it would be THEIR money if someone got hurt and the place went belly-up.
