Yesterday ford built the 10 millionth mustang, and they made it in Wimbledon white just like mustang #1 and they are both convertibles with a v8 and a manual transmission. To commemorate the occasion Ford contacted the south east Michigan mustang owners club and chose 1 example from each year for a parade from the world headquarters in dearborn to the flat rock assembly plant. Then they had them all line up to spell out 10,000,000 and took a photo. Serial #1 was the first comma, and the 10 millionth was the second comma. There was also some special mustangs there, like the very first mustang ever sold (two days before it was introduced at the worlds fair on April 17, 1964) and the original bullit mustang in unrestored condition.
