5.0 ecoboost?
On a related note, more info on the demon was released today. Basically a street legal drag car with a vin. 808 hp on pump gas, 9.90's with the included drag radials. Also they include a aluminum racing jack, cordless impact wrench and a pair of 4.5" wide wheels for the front, you provide the tires. They also claim if you bolt on the skinnies, and run 100 octane race gas, it makes 840 hp and runs 9.60's
They only plan on 3300 copies, no pricing yet.

All those times mean nothing because it's not NHRA compliant
True, NHRA already banned it. There is provisions for a rollbar/cage, but that is up to the owner. Some may want it as a street car, others as a collectors item, my guess that is why there is no cage.
i saw where Lincoln will offer the raptor motor in the navigator.
Glad they are trying to give expedition buyer a reason to upgrade.
647 vs 450. "Slightly detuned". And I am slightly overweight:
Labnerd. Love that engine look, it somehow looks simple and high tech all at once

Me either, the DCT that ford used on the 12+ focus was an epic fail. They still have trouble with it seven years later. There is even a class action lawsuit against ford because of that trans.
yea, not sure if the DC part will be in house, or codeveloped with GM, or sourced from outside?
I bet the car , engine and trans will be great, they have taken there time an previous high performance cars have been great or taken car of, ford is not new to the hot rod market.
my brother's bmw has a twin disc auto and if you have never been in one......they lay it down.
