True, NHRA already banned it. There is provisions for a rollbar/cage, but that is up to the owner. Some may want it as a street car, others as a collectors item, my guess that is why there is no cage.

i saw where Lincoln will offer the raptor motor in the navigator.
Glad they are trying to give expedition buyer a reason to upgrade.

Me either, the DCT that ford used on the 12+ focus was an epic fail. They still have trouble with it seven years later. There is even a class action lawsuit against ford because of that trans.

yea, not sure if the DC part will be in house, or codeveloped with GM, or sourced from outside?

The article says the 7 speed DCT is being developed by Tremec.

I bet the car , engine and trans will be great, they have taken there time an previous high performance cars have been great or taken car of, ford is not new to the hot rod market.

my brother's bmw has a twin disc auto and if you have never been in one......they lay it down.
