Here is a quick explanation of my experience. I ordered a rear step pad bumper cover for my 2007 f150.
I tried to install it. The cover is a cheap chinese aftermarket part, and it doesn't line up. If you have ever tried to remove or install ford trim pieces, you know that the tabs will always break when trying to remove. The overall length of the step pad is short on the right side about 1/2 inch. It will not snap down flat. i called to get a refund, and they declined it. They said i ordered the wrong part. This is NOT TRUE. According to their website, the part IS the right part. It looks identical to the OEM. This part is just a cheap, chinese POS part. Their customer service is the worst. This just a buyer BEWARE informative post. I will not ever purchase from them again.

Duly noted. I've had the same kind of experience with other vendors that rely on Chinese made parts. The Chinese change the design without the vendor knowing about it and in all too many cases, the parts are shipped directly from China without the vendor ever seeing them so the buyer ends having to be the vendors Quality Control!

What was the "customer service" rep's excuse for refusing to refund the purchase price? And FWIW this is exactly why I ALWAYS pay for purchases using a credit card! The CC company and Federal law will back me up if necessary.

Remember all customer service is not always Good Customer Service.
I've been trying to avoid China Products as much as possible. The quality just isn't there.

I had the same thoughts. No resolution, nothing even offered to fix it, just a political response. Lots of meaningless words with no resolution.

Yea I saw an apology, followed by two paragraphs about how "awesome" they are
