to look up window stickers to research trucks I've been thinking about buying, and some times VINs just return "Please check back later. The window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle."

For example, here's my current truck, an 04 FX4. 1FTPX14524NA39039
Here's a truck I looked at today, an 11 Lariat. 1FTFW1EF3BFC45371

So what gives? Does the window sticker tool only go back so far?

 

I think I read in another thread that Ford has pulled the plug on this service.

 

The window sticker one only goes back 3 years, and I heard ford took it down about a year ago.

 

I just tried the forddirect.com and nothing came up

 

Found another one that isn't working, this time a 2014 XLT screw.
