We need to take away pork barrel measures leached onto valid legislation.
We have enough laws. Congress can't pass more laws until they vote to delete an equal number of laws.
We need to stop letting the foxes (congress) vote on how the hen house (their salaries/benefits) is guarded.
Put congressional salaries and perks on the ballot every 4 years along with the elected seats. How hard can that be. It's either left the same, or increases a ? percent.
Hell, I never one time had a vote in my salary....... any of you ever decided your salary? (not counting those that own a private business)
Let's cut out congressional staff travel budgets. We are mostly working from home, no reason for them to leap all over the country and world to increase their electability. Pelosi alone spend over a million dollars a year on jet travel (in an effort to be non-partisan, Trump spent more, but he was the Potus). I'd hate to see the totals for everything we taxpayers covered.
We need to streamline the tax system with a flat tax. No deductions, no loopholes, a simple percentage of your gross income for the year. Everyone pays the same rate. Let it begin at 25,000 per year, up to that point you pay no Federal tax.
If you are collecting EBT/SNAP benefits (called entitlements, wonder why they call them entitlements? lol), they should have an expiration date just like unemployment benefits, etc. Hell, I know people that have been on them for years. It would take too much effort to get a job and work your way up to making more money than the entitlements already pay. It's easier to just re-apply every 6 months. In my small circle of EBT recipients, I've never known anyone to get denied.

Oh, and lets not forget TERM LIMITS ON ALL PUBLIC OFFICES two terms and you are done for a lifetime, time to spread the wealth and the ability to lead.
