Well in my own words my take on it is, trouble stay out of it with the cops and getting shot you won't have to worry about.

Even more so. Except for the fact that he didn't lick the Donald's boots what was so offensive about his speech? Was it the display that he has principals and couldn't get all splashy about Trump after his wife and father were unjustly trashed? Let alone the fact that the Trump campaign KNEW for weeks he wasn't going to endorse him. Does he (Cruz) have to put his first amendment right of free speech because aside because a bunch of mouth breathing, knuckle dragging Trumpateers think he should? PALEEZE!

If anything the Trump campaign just made it harder for me to pull the lever for Trump, I will though you can thank the Hildabeast for that!

If nothing else it will be interesting to go back through this thread a year from now.

 

Cruz should have stayed home if he wasn't going to endorse Trump. But there was a tv camera there and Cruz being the egg sucking politician that he is will always show up for.
Hey, the Cruz campaign started on Trumps wife first. Did you forget that? Dish it out but can't take it. The National Enquirer ran the story about his Dad. It wasn't someone in the Trump organization who made it up. He should sue the Enquirer if he is so poed.

Again what was the issue except for the lack of boot licking? What I heard was more substance and consistency than in the Trump campaign, so far.

 

It's not boot licking. It's being a team player. It was a hotly contested campaign. Cruz lost. Trump won. But they are still in the same party with an obligation to deny Criminal Hillary the presidency. Cruz is like a child who doesn't get his way and takes his marbles and goes home. Except a tv camera will always bring Cruz out. Trump let him speak at the convention because he was the runner-up out of respect and still let him speak even though Cruz gave a copy of his speech to Trump 2 hours before he spoke and he knew that Cruz wasn't endorsing him. Cruz lost instead of gained future voters.

 

Here is the part I don't understand. Trump won the primary, everybody knows that. Plus Cruz has conceded more than once, he even congratulated Trump on his victory at the beginning of his speech. So WTF is the issue that all the Trump people have with Cruz, seems to me like they are the ones with the juvenile attitude. Trump could use Cruz in his corner but continues to belittle him????

BTW I watched the acceptance speech tonight and it was pretty good. I just hope he didn't bite off more than he can chew.

 

I thought Trump's speech was great...if he can go through with all his ideas' will be another thing without getting blocked by the opposition. Refreshing to hear a businessman speak and not a politician. His wife and daughters are a lot easier on the eyes then the Clinton women!!

 

All of the Trump kids are amazing! Kids don't always turn out like you hope, but they certainly appear to great speakers and highly successful.

Trump won the most delegates PERIOD.
Cruz had sworn to support he Republican candidate PERIOD.
The Republican Party HAD chosen Trump as their official candidate PERIOD.

By every standard, Cruz should have endorsed Trump AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY and moved on. But instead he still wanted act like a spoiled child and was and is willing to split the Republican vote in the general election thus ensuring a Hillary victory. What he did was nothing less than a public Bitch Slap to the Republican Party. I think the RP going to be a lot less forgiving of him than Trump was.

PS I don't think you'll be here a year from now. I predict that about November you're going to have a stroke! But if you don't; keep in mind that Canada and Cuba both still have room for you! (But you might want to get your reservations soon since I predict that a lot of Hollywood liberals will also heading that way.)

Yeah, ol Bill was on the passenger list 26 times on Epstein's lolita express airplane, you know the billionaire who went to jail for providing under age prostitutes to powerful people on his island, orgy island. Trump backed out of the same pledge he wants Cruz to uphold in a May 29th interview. So Trump can back out but not Cruz???? Plus where were ALL the others that also made that pledge Casich, Bush, or any of the others? But Cruz is an S.O.B. I don't get that one, but oh well. In his speech Cruz said to vote your conscience, how inflammatory is that? Then, what was it, one or two nights later Trump's daughter says "I'm not a Republican or a Democrat, and I vote my conscience." The crowd went wild, (from 3 Amigos) "Remember when we raped the horses and rode off on the women?" and the crowd went wild.

Then this morning in an interview, Trump the newly nominated candidate doesn't go after the Hildabeast or talk policy, He goes after Cruz and his family AGAIN! So much for being a great unifier.

This whole thing is sad, the potential and climate is right to make real changes in the government. It is just a crying shame that the opportunity will be wasted because Trump can't control his pettiness. I wish him the best and hope to God that I am wrong.........but I don't think so because I saw it first hand in Calif with the "Terminator".

McConnel will lick Trump's boots and Trump will like it and things will go on the same but with different faces.
