Stuffed Animals
Stuffed Animals
I know everyone is participating in many forms of relief for our country as well as I am. As of now i am putting together a group collecting stuffed animals to send to all the children that had their parents killed in the tragedy. If you are interested in helping please contact me at paxton@tamu.edu thanks and GOD bless
No paxton - THANK YOU!
I am happy to help any way I can! BTW - I have an updated list from Ground Zero of supplies they need there. There were 2 items that made me cry! They're asking for American Flags & teddy Bears for the RESCUERS! I guess we all need to take care of the "kid" in each of us. I'd lose it if I saw a fireman or police officer clinging to a teddy bear for support. How touching!
I already donated as much as I could (cash wise) My employer(Roseburg Forest Products) set up a deal that your donation will come out of your next paycheck.Really made it easy.Btw we now put an american flag with "god bless america" written below it on every unit of finished product (Plywood, particleboard,2x4s,2x6s 4x4s, laminated beams )that gets shipped out.
I never even thought about the kids needing stuff (wich is kinda dumb, because I do have one).I might just have to go through my little angels( 3 yr girl) toys and donate some of the ones that she doesn't play with (stuffed animals). After all,she has way to many (spoiled rotten) and there are people out there that need them way worse than she does.

I know what you mean about breaking down and crying.I saw some interview footage of some of the rescue workers ad volunteers the other day. There was a guy (not being interviewed) standing in the background that showed up to volunteer with a shovel and he was leaning on it crying.Put me over the edge.
