I'm Already Gone - RIP Glenn Frey

I didn't see a thread about this but Glenn Frey died yesterday afternoon. For those of you who don't know, he was a founding member and one of the lead singers for the Eagles. So far, 2016 is a bad year for rock singers.

It is shaping up to be a crappy year. First Bowie and now Frey. I blame my love of the Eagles on my buddy Gord who always had them playing every time I got into his car. Glad I caught their show when it came through town September 2013. RIP Glenn you left some pretty amazing songs to remember you by.

Wow -- they say these bad things always happen in threes -- wonder who the next one will be......

A good guess might be Keith Richards, although that probably doesn't count since he already looks like he's dead.....

So, I'm watching the Rebublican debate and Trump says, "..these two extremists kill 14 people in California, will be 16 because a couple of the wounded are in bad shape..."

Now imagine you're in the hospital, wounded, watching the debate....

Lemmy from Motorhead died about the same time as Bowie. Frey was the third.

Is it called History of the Eagles? If so it's on Netflix too. It's well worth watching.

That's the one. It's on Showtime and Showtime Demand. Such incredible talent!

It just depends on where you want to start and stop counting. Going in 3's is a BS theory anyway.........not a single one of us is going to get out of here alive!

Back on topic, Glenn's talent will be (in the words of Neil Young) gone but not forgotten. I'm an old fart that remembers when they first hit the big time and I have enjoyed their music to this day. RIP Glenn.
