(Albany-AP) -- Governor Pataki has announced toll-free phone
numbers for those who want to help victims of the terrorist attacks
in Manhattan by donating blood or medical services.
Registered nurses and emergency medical services personnel
should call (800) 628-0193. The number for doctors is (518)
431-7600.
The numbers for blood donors in the upstate area are (800)
448-3543 or (800) 272-4543. Donors in the New York City region may
call (800) 692-5663 or (800) 933-2566.

 

I wanted to go down to help but can't get near the city according to my relatives there. I'll try this # & see if there's a way to go help. I'll keep you posted - thanks Y2k!
