911 museum

So about 2 weeks ago, I called my wife and said I want to see Eric Clapton and the 911 museum. So we got tickets and off we went. I saw the reflecting pools and in process new tower about 3 years ago.

The 911 museum is moving, So many emotions from respect, to honored to be there, to sad, to mad.

Me and my wife had a coffee and she said why would we build a monument to let the SOB know how bad they got us. I can only say it was more important to honor those we lost and to make it so that we can never forget what happened. So glad i went. the size of things will blow you away, from the thickness of the steel to the slurry wall to the elevator motors. i also loved the restored honda motorcycle. A fire fighter had purchased an old honda cb750 and the other guys said he would never get it going. He died in the attack and the guys finished it for him. It is beautiful and such a guy way to honor a friend.

I was on my way to NY when it happened. I saw it 6 months later in person and couldn't believe the devastation and damage. To see it now is unbelievable from what it was. Amazing what we can do as a country. Thanks for sharing Dave
