It might be the rarest version of a Ford truck on the road. You have a better chance at catching Bigfoot than seeing one of these.

I believe in '99 you could also get a lariat super duty standard cab. I've seen those as well once in a blue moon.

I had a new '85 Toyota pickup for 14 years before this one and I didn't know if the Ford would last as long as the Toyota but, the Ford drives like new @144,000 miles.
Hey, that's two pickup trucks in thirty friggin years. I should get a medal or something.

That's awesome....is that a recent photo of your truck....if so, it still looks new. Congrats....as a proponent of not buying a new vehicles every few years, this post speaks to my savings philosophy. Just awesome!

I was thinking the same thing......but since my office is on the same property as my house, my mileage is even less than that, but most people put 2-3 x's that on vehicles each year. My 06 King Ranch just rolled over 30k. Plus I tool around town in my winter-garaged classics as much as I possibly can in the non-winter days of the year!

Let me see here. 144,000 miles on the truck. 2 farts per day for 16 years. That works out to one fart every 12.33 miles. Talk about meaningless statistics ...

Truck looks great!

When people ask about my F-150 I have always been proud to claim that I have never even so much as farted in my truck! However, a couple of years back I was doing my center console mod and as I was bending over and hoisting my center seat out of the truck, one slipped out. I was at a somewhat awkward angle at the time and wasn't exactly sure of the orientation of my rear end to the cab of the truck, so I have wondered ever since if the "no fart" claim is still entirely accurate with my ride......

I have the tan cloth but none of mine ever stained the seats so I'm good! Plus they're covered now anyways

You are only going to stain the seats if the fart becomes a shart..........

That's the exact opposite of what I do. As soon as I buy a truck I rip a good one in the driver's seat. It's my way of marking my territory.
