2003 - 2004 Mercury Maruader......???
They were donated
Did they leave the left blinker on all the time?
We had a F150online rally about fifteen years ago and a bunch of us went to the track.
Mike Troyer ran his Mark VIII, I remember because I got to line up beside him.
I think he was in the high 14s.
When he went thru tech inspection he gave the official a quick peek under the hood and said "She's all stock." I just shook my head.
The official didn't mess with him because after all it was a Lincoln.
This guy was known here as the 'Superchips Distibutor', I think he lied so he wouldn't have to wear a helmet and a fire suit.

With the stock gearing the MarkVIIIs were slow off the line. Not the best for drag racing against the clock. Fine for bracket racing. They shifted out of 1st gear at 50mph, second gear at 90mph. The intake was restricted until about 3k rpm. They would give you 26 to 28mpg on the interstate. If you want them to scream, 4.10 rear gears are the way to go.

When I bought my truck Ford sent me blanket with the Blue Oval on it.
We were trying to get participation at the 1/4 mile track during our weekend rally so I offered up the blanket as a prize to the 'slowest' truck.
I think we had 15 or so trucks make some passes.
I was just glad not to win my own blanket.
