I'd want one, except at my age I probably couldn't get into it! Ha! My son's Miata is tough enough.

I listened to that last week. Sounds superb.

Just to say...most don't dislike V6's. I love the sound. Here's the problem: they don't tune them properly for sound in trucks. They sound like ****. I think people like making generalizations how just because some don't like the way the Eco boost sound then they hate all V6's. Any engine only sounds as good as it is tuned to be. Car and driver recently did an article on what makes an engine sound like it does. Fascinating reading and I've done my own research and the harmonics and frequency science is enough to make your head spin. That GT sounds beautiful and it's not by accident.

Take a 3.7 V6 mustang. It's a beautiful sounding engine. Then take the 3.5 V6 in the Taurus. Sounds like crap in comparison. They don't do a good job on tuning the sound on some vehicles and the truck Eco is one of them in my opinion. Until they do, there will continue to be people who refuse to buy them. You can't tell a person they can't like the way a V8 sounds and need to get over it. That's ignorance and lately I've seen to much on here about that on both sides. It's annoying.

Engine sound differences

That would be firmly in the 'drooling' category.

This is me go-to puking emo: .

My wife's 2013 Infiniti EX37 has a 325 hp 3.7L V6 and that engine sounds great. Infiniti did a lot of engineering to make it sound good.

It also weighs about 600 lbs less than my 2005 352hp (with Superchips) Dodge Magnum Hemi. And I think it would beat my Magnum in a drag race with its quick shifting 7 speed automatic.

That thing is hott! I'm really curious to see how much of it trickles down to the rest of the cars. I'd love to retrofit some GT goodness to my truck.

the new 5.2 v-8 making 600 to 650 with electric on the front tires at 100 to 150 hp would have been my wish.
