What type of bow?
It's nice to know there are PLENTY of hunters here. I have been
thinking about taking up bowhunting, since it would extend my
time afield. What type of bow do you bowhunters recommend?
I'm leaning toward a Matthews. I have friends who bowhunt and
Matthews bows seem to be all the rage right now. Opinions on
a bow?

You need to find somebody to make up a Plains Indian style flat bow out of elm. 70 to 80# ought to do it. Make up some ash shafts with trader points to go with it. You'll be ready for some real hunting.
