Seriously......????

I've heard of "basket cases" before, but this one has got to take the cake: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Thunderbird-N-A-1957-ford-thunderbird-rare-3-speed-/301403487027?forcerrptr=true&hash=item462d0c3b33&item=301403487027&pt=US_Cars_Trucks

Doesn't appear that the engine survived either. The valve covers are even warped. I didn't see anything of the body salvageable and apparently it got crushed from the rear. I guess if you need a title for a 57 Bird, here's one as that's all that's left of this one. What a mess!

Sad, that thing is even well past "planter" status.

Zero bids at 3 grand. Shocker.

I'm pretty sure the seller is on crack.

Too bad it is so trashed. I have liked those old two seater T-birds ever since I first saw American Graffiti.

The manual transmission T-Birds are truly very rare. Neighbor when I was a teen had a 56 with a manual. 3 on the floor, non-synchro 1st. I drove it once, don't remember whether it had an overdrive or not.
