GPS Upgrade

Do not waste your money on a GPS upgrade. I spent $400 to upgrade the GPS on my 2010 F150 and my 2010 Hybrid Escape. The POI's suck and mapping is worse. It sends me all over heck in the wrong direction. Some of the poi's that were on the original installation are now gone. The map that was correct on the original now makes me take a wrong turn to a place i have been several times.

The GPS software sucks and Ford don't care.

I was looking for furniture stores in Miss and the POI said there are none and I was on a street with at least 7 furniture stores that had been the more than 10 years.

It still directs me to places in Biloxi Mississippi that were wiped out in Katrina and that was 10 years ago.

Streets and roads that have been completed over 4 years don't show up.

I have bought I have bought 5 Fords in 10 years and this will be the last. Hello Toyota

You are going to give up on Ford simply because of a bad GPS? Good luck with your Toyota.

Go spend $150 for a Garmin with lifetime maps.

My old truck had a clock that was constantly inaccurate. It was all over the place with the time, no matter how many times I corrected it.

So, I bought a wristwatch.
