&^&$%& environmentalists!!
I have never been sooooooooooo angry in all my life.
Last night I was paranoid for some reason and kept checking on my truck periodically when I would wake. Well, this morning while taking my shower, my baby was vandalized!
You know, our friends www.changingtheclimate.com or whatever with the lovely bumper stickers right smack on my tailgate.
Thank GOD it came off, but you can imagine the tears in my eyes when I saw it. Now, I am just so angry words cannot express...
progressive environmentalism at it's pinacle? What if I had to get it repainted? Those paint fumes do the ozone a LOT of good!
STUPID.
Ok enough ranting for now...

Ok new twist to the plot...
So I found out who did this, this guy who LIVES in my complex.
When I was parking tonight he SAW me get out of my truck when he drove in. I saw him look at me and look at the truck and say to his friend, "that's the truck that I stickered"
But there is nothing I can do... other than find out what unit he lives in and report him for vandalism, but that might leave me open for more retribution.
How could anyone have such blatant disrespect for people's property? Any comments or suggestions? My theory is that mommy and daddy bought him his SUV (yes, folks he drives an SUV) and has no idea what it's like to be on your own and pay for your own vehicle, much less the pride it gives you. Ug.
Goodnight all

You could confront him, but I'm sure he'll deny everything. And it's best not to retaliate doing something to his SUV. IMHO, find out what his mailing address is; get the bumper sticker and wipe your a$$ with it and mail it back to him.
Yeah, I just about ran down the stairs and after him to beat the crap out of him... but well then I remembered, I am a petite female and he had another 6' male with him. I think I could only handle one!
Right now my brother's convertible is parked in his spot with a note saying " if need me to move call..." we'll see what's done when the jerk returns. I doubt he's an environmentalist, as every 5 min he's jumping in his SUV to go somewhere and returns shortly.

That would really tick me off!
But like what Jupiterak said probably shouldn't retaleate. {spelling??} Hate to see emotions explode.
But could you imagin his look if he woke up in the morning with a F150ONLINE.COM sticker on his SUV. Bareing that it is a FORD suv!

I think you should definatly confront this moron and point out how your V6 is getting better gas milage than his wind-blocking SUV. Maybe you can get him to cry if you yell really loud
I'm familiar with the groups and their tactics to enlighten our misguided souls and I find they are ALL absolutely pathetic individuals.
For the most part, people find somthing that makes them feel good and they stick with it. They contribute to society and sleep well. These Co%ksuckers only find meaning in telling everyone else what's right and wrong.
I'm referring to groups like anarchists, PETA and the morons that have gotten us started on this subject.

They go through their lives with no direction (or course while smoking LOTS of pot and sponging off their parents) and find that if they concentrate on telling everyone else what to do to make the world a better place, they feel as though they finally found the meaning of their pathetic little lives.
I think the little hippie that tagged your truck wasn't paying attention to the rules of engagment. They state that Pickup trucks are not to be tagged because they serve a useful purpose to the owners.
It's an amusing site and mission statement. Very self-rightious and ulimately little more than propaganda.

Admittedly these are not "Honda Insights" but people are not going to stop driving them. They are just going to get very, very angry and fill someones A$$ with their size 13 boots.
In the end they are only going to serve their own egos by doing this and it really is pathetic. Too bad........
If I find some A$$hole putting one of those stickers on my truck, I'll spend the next year making sure they have nightmares ever time they fall asleep.
In a few years the gas milage isn;t going to be an issue. Then what will they do
Some time ago I saw a story about a normally asperated 4.0L Ford gas engine for the Explorer that pushes out 230HP while getting 29MPG.
Pity is that these yahoo's will try and take the credit for advancments engine technology.

Please don't stick an F150online sticker on his SUV, please! I don't need that aggravation!
Why not contact the organization that he is representing and tell them the you saw him driving an SUV? Explain to them how you really feel that their organization is doing an excellent job at raising the awareness of the environmental risks of trucks and that you were considering joining or contributing, until you came across this particular hypocritical representative of their group. I'm sure his fellow fanatics would like to ask him a few questions about it. Maybe they'll even kick him out of their little group.

Funny thier site is down
http://www.changingtheclimate.com/
"The page cannot be displayed"
It is not even listed in DNS anymore
I love the irony of a SUV driver "tagging" a pickup driver. Yahoo summarizes the site as being specifically targeted at SUV's. Too bad that guy is too arrogant to look in the mirror next time he is looking to TAG something

BTW... I'm not REALLY serious steve
go down stairs..... knock on his door covering the peep hole through his door. when he opens the door grab his shirt and yell EXTREMELY loud with a bloody rambo look on your face and scream to the guy tightening your grip
"if you ever touch my truck again ill rip your FUUUCKING HEART and feed it to you" " ARE WE CLEAR YOU SOB"
intimidation and perception are key.. and it will WORK!

OK scratch that idea about the f150online sticker, hate to see Steve get any aggravation over this. I'm sure we all can figure something out for her.
Redridinghood, did this mooron ever call you lastnight about your brothers convertible being in his place?? Just wondering how things turned out.

Don't worry no F150 stickers will be put on anyone's vehicle! I had thought about emailing the changingtheclimate guy but he seems to have the outlook of "well for every jerk who stickers wrong, there are so many good outcomes of this sticker war"
I am not out for revenge... because that's just stupid. If I had caught him in the act, well that would be a different story, he would have been REAL sorry. Don't mess with a girl's truck!!!
Turns out today my brother's car has been towed. He's broke and it's $120 to get it out. I am sooooo ready to move. I hate hate hate my alma matter and all these obnoxious spoiled students don't help any.
This guy totally denies everything... meanwhile he is parked in someone else's spot. Oh the irony! He will get his, especially if he EVER parks in our spot.
Maybe that's evil but at least I will be the bigger person.
Karma anyone?
