New Truck!

Ladies & Gents, I'm proud to announce a new member of the F-150 family: Me. I am the proud new owner of a 2001 F-150XLT SC4x4, Toreador Red & Gray, 4.6L, Auto, 3.31 Gears, and it is awesome.

For the sake of dealer reccomendations for those in the New England area, I'll share some of my findings briefly from my lengthy purchase:

Good Dealers:

Thomas Ford, Beverly, MA, Tim McGillicuddy, Sales
Place Motors (Ford), Webster, MA, Greg Ostrowski, Sales
Stoneham Ford, Stoneham, MA, Greg, Sales
Bonnell Ford, Winchester, MA, Sue Bonnell, Sales

Bad Dealers:

Jack Madden Ford, Norwood, MA
Quirk Ford, Quincy, MA
Sentry Ford, Medford, MA
York Ford, Saugus, MA

Just my experiences, if it helps someone get a good buying experience like I did at Thomas Ford, all the better. Not attempting to trash a Dealer, just a polite heads-up...

Well, off to go enjoy my new ride.

RJ

Sounds like a nice pickup, take good care of her. You should have many carefree miles ahead.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for the good wishes.. I love it. I've had it less than 4 days yet and I've helped a friend move, gone to the beach, visited a firend camping, I'm so glad I bought this thing.

Don C, I'm from Medford, MA, but I'll be moving soon to Mansfield, MA to be closer to my job. Some college friends are renting a house in your neck of the woods, we had some beers late last night on the porch (no furniture yet).. hope we didn't wake you!

Later (going out with the truck!)

RJ

Congrats on the new truck and welcome to the best place on the net for learning about it. Oh yes, welcome to the ranks of the growing list of 4x4 owners!

LOL. Sounds like you're gonna break in that truck in less than a week. Enjoy and have fun.
