thing that ever happened to you?

I once drove a tour boat in Victoria B.C. harbour.

They hold about 12 people & it was almost full that trip.
The last couple got on and gave me a Visa card for payment. I sliped the card into the machine and worked the handle. It must have caught, because the next thing I knew the card flew out through the open doorway and into about 20 ft. of salt water. It seemed to happen in slow motion and I think every eye on board watched as it sailed out and splashed.

I was stuned for a minute, and then it struck me and I could not stop laughing - as did all on board, EXCEPT the card owner.

PS - I gave them a free ride

I worked for a tour company and made a typo when entering in credit card payment info. I accidentaly charged $1139.00 to a couple's credit card instead of $139.00. It only took a couple minutes to figure out how to void the transaction but they were throwing a fit the whole time!
