New respect for seat belts.
Couple of years ago I had a 4 wheeler bounce off my chest while I was unloading it from my truck. Damn near killed me. Safety cannot be over stressed when it come to toys like those. one mistake and you dead. Glad you survived!
Never been pitched off going that fast, but a helmet could certainly save your life at that speed.
It's a roll of the dice anytime you part ways with your machine. At 65 mph, you could slide nice and walk away with some abrasions, or rag doll and break every bone in your body as well as pop your melon.
If your exposed head hits something hard and immovable at even 30 mph, your odds of walking away intact are not good.
The OP was knocked out and was almost certainly going way less than 65 in the dirt on his rzr. He probably has no idea what his head hit. Might have been his vehicle, might have been a rock, tree, or just the ground.
Could have been a lot worse. That's a wake up call in my book.

I wouldn't be surprised if that guy didn't make it. I hope that thing didn't flip on him
