strange electrical symbol on motor starter?
Hi there. I know we have some good techs and engineers here.
Today at work, I stumbled across something interesting on a motor starter. It is an older Telemecanique. On the overload relay, it has a contact terminals numbered 91 and 92 (instead of the normal 95,96,97, and 98 for NO and NC). the symbol for that contact shows a NC contact symbol with an upside down and reversed "F" hanging from it.
Kind of confused on what's going on here exactly, not going to lie to ya. It acts like a normal NC contact opening the common side of the A1, A2 coil circuit.
