I use both PC and MAC comps, have for years, but there's something I can't figure out or find any info on.

I upgraded a Mac Mini from a single core to a Intel Core 2 Duo chip, - 2.33 GHz

L2 = 4MB now.

But, I can only run 2 GB of memory which is fine, but I purchased 4 GB for it that I haven't tried because, I need to upgrade the Bio's first, but yea, no info how to get over that hump. I guess it won't be easy and I haven't tried it yet, - that's okay, - need a solid place to start I guess. I haven't acquired enough info for that confidence factor.

Willing to take chances, I have every MAC system disc and I'm currently running a Mercury Extreme Pro 6G SSD. - Everything is backed up also, so yea, I can take chances, just haven't yet.

It runs very well, very fast now, - I can't over tax it with any program so far. So if 4 GB isn't possible, I guess I can live with it. (not really lol).

I'll most likely have to sign up with some MAC Nerd site. I can tell already lol. This can't be easy..

Thanks yea I've been there before. Been so many places, read and read that you can't, but you always get those posts where someone has done it. But they aren't clear, most forget because it took so much trial and error, you forget how you did it. Been there done that. Attempting to find something w/steps, every one because they're all important w/Unix and now intel.

All support has is 2009 ^^^

w/ExistingFirmwareInteger of 1.2.

Well I can't get 07 anywhere. I think it was around for awhile, but apple discontinued it, you know. Or it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Firmware and System are divided of course.
