Nice car. The only problem I see is the automatic tranny.

Nice! Also agree that the tranny is the only flaw haha. But it's great looking C2, can't go wrong with a red 'Vette!

Thanks for your posts! The owner talked about the automatic, he bought it for his wife, and that's why it's an automatic. He bought the car new.

That's a great story that he's been able to hold onto it all these years, and still have it be in such great shape. It's expensive to keep stuff looking nice over the years.

My neighbor has a 1970 Olds 442 with the 455 that he's had since it was 3 years old. Yellow drop top. It's 100% bone stock, all original besides obvious things, 80 some k original miles, 1 respray in the 80s, and 2 interiors. Scored a 92 in the Olds Nationals in their "original/survivor" class. He let me drive it, one of a select few over the entire period he's owned it, I was proud that he trusted me.

Is that the owner in the first and last pictures?

Nice '67 Vette...saw an L-88 '67 Vette sell for $3,200,000 buck's on the Mecum auction last week. Wish I would of had the foresight to buy one back then!

The 67 split window hard top is my favorite corvette. Had a neighbor who had one when I was growing up. Love that car. The all aluminum powerglide is the preferred drag racing transmission so there not all bad but in a car like that one I'd want an over drive transmission. My Mach I was a 4 speed I converted to a 5 and at this point I'd rather have an auto if I were doing another old car project. Shifting sucks.
