NCSU headed to KY!

Hey all, it's been a while.... glad to see some familiar names still kicking about.

After 20 years in NC the wife and I are packing up shop and heading to Lexington, KY. I'll still be doing the diving work, traveling and whatnot, but for a new company and wifey will be able to keep her current job and work from home.

Watch out RP, we're comin your way!

Not sure exactly where we'll be living... Probably rent a place downtown somewhere to start then figure it out from there.

You know any good places to live, or places to avoid for that matter? We don't really want to be amongst the UK kids, but still close to stuff d/t.

It's kind of hard to tell from your post if this is a positive move. If so, congrats man.

And you are moving to another BBQ state.

Yeah, it's a positive thing. Better job, more responsibility, more money, more opportunities. Had the chance to relocate to CT, but screw that! Cost of living alone would have killed me.

Nah - Arkansas is where the tooth brush was invented - if it had been invented anywhere else it would have been called a TEETH brush.

A certain part of central PA is the northern equivalent of KY! My kinfolk have populated a town that is referred to as PencilTuckey for the last 300 years! 70 -80% of my blood relatives live within 20 miles of one another

Oh, man. LOL!

If/when I'm up that way, I'll definitely meet up for a barley pop or two... I'll even buy the first couple of rounds.

Man you've got that down to a science there! But you must not be from there, "Pennsyl" is far too hard to spell for my kinfolk. It's spelt how it sounds
