Win98 ? That is old lol. I remember it tho and still have the operating system on some old hard drives. Hell, I even Mac OS9 HD's lol. I recall it taking allot of time to migrate away from XP. I ran XP pro for years and years. Then I went to Vista with a laptop machine. I liked Vista right away, still do. It's packed with drivers. Then Win7. I didn't like that one, nope, not at all. Not for along time anyway. It seemed to missing the drivers I liked to use most. However, it's not near as bad as it was now tho. I'm using Win7 most of the time on the Desktop machine and Vista on the Laptop. Both work great.

Win8 lol, not anytime soon.

Odd, I never had an issue with Win 7 and drivers till I switch out for my i5 2400 system. The network controller was new and there wasn't a bundled driver for it yet. Everything else worked just fine.
