How many are out there? UK, and US Service staff.
Would like to find out who uses what garage, and where you are getting your spares from. Most parts are easy enough to get hold of, but larger stuff costs a fortune to try and ship.

A lot depends where you are based. I would guess norfolk/suffolk.

Most places are in London and like you say most stuff is gettable but shipping sends the cost skywards. i use Rockauto a lot. Summit also ship to the UK. If you are US services you may be able to get your taxes back too. http://www.usautomotive.co.uk are uk based but you still pay the shipping one way or another. It often works out a better deal though as they import a number at a time.
http://www.boatwright.co.uk are similar, more of a dealership but have a parts dept.

I got the wording a bit out. It looks like I was just asking about military. It should have read UK owners, and US servicemen/ women. Living just up the road from Mildenhall and Lakenheath I know there's a lot of US forces close by.
I was hoping to find contacts for some of the bigger items, like body panels. Either new, or salvage.
While the subject of the US bases are in mind, they have a great 4th July celebr ation open to the public. Some cars on show, and the general car park full of all kinds. Well worth an evening out.
