Don't ship, let me pick it up!!!!

Ordered my new kings Ranch Feb. 19th and the E.T.A. is now the 28th. If given the option I would have flown out to KC and driven the thing back! Cost wise it would have been maybe a wash depending on airfare etc. but at least I'd be driving my new truck!
I think I tend to be too impatient?

You cannot pick up a new vehicle at the factory. It must be transported to a dealer.

The only factory pickup in America is the Corvette plant in bowling green, that I'm aware of. It is a option! No savings in picking it up. I watched a couple take delivery of there new vette when i was there. Had the car in a roped off area and the employee took about 2 hours with the owners, explaining the vehicle. Then the door opened and they drove out into pouring rain.
