Anyone have a GPS?
JDF - I drive my vehicle (now a 2001 SCrew) from Ohio to Colorado; based out of Kansas City. A street level GPS is a God send for finding addresses, motels, what services available at the next exit, and REAL important - how far to the next rest stop! Putting on about 50 to 60 K per year, I don't think I would classify my GPS as a toy, but as a useful and time saving tool.
Though I must say, as I own two, boats really do fall into the category of toys - unless you are on the pro BASS tour or something and if so, I don't think there are any bass at 20 miles offshore!

Boy did I miss the boat on that one(no pun intended)(actually, yes intended).
Nothing wrong with toys BD but mattadams showed me the error of my ways.
I can see where being out in the middle of the desert with no land marks would be just like being out to sea.
Whitescrew, you have a "use" for having one so you are entitled. As a former road warrior myself, it might have been a handy tool. All I ever had was a trusty rand mcnally street guide. And my 33 foot boat IS a toy. I guess I just like to get little toys to go with the big toys and if you think there are no striped sea bass 20 miles out, you haven't fished the "shelf" off Bock Island Rhode Island.
