I saw that truck at a car show last month.

Kind of ridiculous to buy a brand new truck and never drive it.

that's an amazing example of the rare vehicles that get taken care of that are hiding out there...

It's too bad some lil' punk will end up getting it for his 16th and then trashing it

Cool find.

One of a kind with that few miles, but I have no idea what the market will bear.

Currnent bid is $5,200, but below the reserve.

Will be interesting to see if it sells and at what price.

Ad says the original owner 'past away' after 2,400 miles, and the current seller is the 2nd owner.

yeah but its 36 years old and still only has 3k so regardless if he died nobody ever drove the damn thing. Ive driven my truck over 65k in just 3 years.

I forgot what the asking price was on that truck. $13k?

If it was 4x4, would probably go for $20+K

Mmmmm sexy. I'd do questionable things to pay for that.

Not at all, I have a few trucks that I just keep pretty and parked to keep the miles off. But I am a hoarder.

My Dad still has his 1971 F250 Camper Special "Custom" that he bought brand new in late 1970... It has about 150,000 miles on it now..

It's still running and sits in his shop garage and has been slated to "farm" hauling duties, but he still takes it out and gets it out every now and then...

He and I replaced the org 390 in it with a reman one around 1982 or so.. That's when it had about 130,000 miles on it... Yes, it's only got 20,000 miles on it since 1982!

Anyway, he says he's keeping it to leave to me... I hope so.. Lots of memories with that truck! I need to get a pic of it!

Mitch
