After years of searching, finally got my Lightning

It only took me a few years and countless nights on craigslist, finally have a lightning. Picked up a red, 2001 SVT with 77K on it. 2 previous owners, almost immaculate condition, and it's been in Buffalo its whole life.

Love everything about it except for the spoiler. As soon as I find the right soft cover for the truck that will be coming up. Have the original rear bumper and side pieces. Will eventually get that repainted and put on also.

Lemme know what ya think!

Hell yeah, JB! Glad to see you finally found you one. I still want one despite having my little rocket.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I do need to do maintenance on the intercooler, the truck has new plugs tho. The truck also has an upgraded lower pulley, 93 predator tune, and catback exhaust. Hoping to get it dynoed soon, possibly take it to JLP next summer.

Congratulations!

That is a very nice truck! Must be a blast to drive.

I agree on keeping the roll pan but ditching the spoiler.

Looks like fun. I like Jose's spoiler on the truck.

Congrats! Glad you found what you wanted. The Lightning is one awsome truck! Got to love that torque! The supercharger whine is like music.

I had an '04 for a little while. They are hard to keep when you can only afford one vehicle at a time. Not to mention strict MA inspections and a wife that doesn't share your appreciation for headers and Magnaflows. I miss it.

Have fun!
