I have deleted this post myself since it would seem that there are 2 members of the forum that are absolutely determined to mis-interpret everything I say purely for their own entertainment.

People can, and will, argue all day about any restrictions that should or shouldn't be placed on an American citizens right to bear arms.

All I have to say is, imagine what could happen if only the government, through the military, and law enforcement, had guns.

Who says you (Or anyone else) would be around to do anything about it ?

Or would your daughter be 'carrying', or more to the point be able to react to the situation ?

All i am saying is, having a gun on you at all times is just another option you have if a situation arises. Just because you have it, doesn't mean you have to use it, but carrying a pistol means you should be somewhat ready to use it.

You'd think after the last thread he started he would have learned that the majority of members on here are gun supporters. Even more are Constitution supporters. If Lenny thinks gun control is awesome he should move to a country that outlaws guns. I'm guessing he's all over the lefts agenda. Look to Europe and see the nightmare. No jobs, rising crime rates, terrible health care provided. Hell, look up to Canada. Ask them how they like gun control or socialized health care. Or look to our history and see what has happened when our government has tried to take our rights.

Just FYI, since I posted in the last thread, something I learned today...

LIB Gov. Quinn has added an amendment to a bill in our state congress outlawing all guns that can hold over 5 rounds. They could soon be called illegal assault weapons. What BS. Even in IL it wont pass. Just goes to show you the idiocracy that is our government today.

And... not even 24 hours after the massacre the LIBS were giving anti gun speeches and demanding for gun control. Just parading around in the midst of bloodshed. Pushing their agenda. But, the gun sales and CC permit apps in Aurora and CO have gone up ever since the shooting.

Our government needs to BACK OFF and let us live our lives making our own choices without them treating it like its a science expeirement.

 

Wait James Holmes didnt abide by those fancy "gun free zone" stickers? I thought those magically removed firearms from people before they (person/people not the firearm) killed or harmed people!

 

I'm cool with our health care. You get hurt, you get fixed up. No bills.

As for gun control. Canada just scraped the long gun registry. You can buy all kinds of guns here, hand guns, rifles etc. Thats never been a problem here. Heck I own lots of guns and never had an issue. Can the system be better?...sure.

1 with health care, there are bills. Its now in taxes on middle class americans. The health care system in th US is already suffering from Obomacare. The left likes to say we had the worst care in the world. LIES. You CANNOT be refused care at the ER. You can't. Thats a law and has been for decades. And to give more socialist free things to people. Heck, if I was lazy and wanted free stuff I could quit my job. File for unemployment (which is up to 99 weeks from 29), get free money on a card. Go cash it. Us my free cell phone from the government. And I could be a drunk, or a drugy and get away with it all. If ANYTHING needs fixed in this country its the welfare system. It give my money and your money to too many people who are just getting a free ride. Not people who actually deserve it. There was a time when people were humble and would rather die than take help from somebody else, especlially our gov. Now those people work 2 or 3 jobs while their spouse works one and raises a family. And theres the lazy farts who get their free money and buy alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, electronics, and lotto tickets. And they dont have to prove anything!! What an out rage! Before you go saying anything about MY guns why dont you go start lobbying for OUR money.

2 you dont live in the socialistic republic of IL where our rights are given up so Chicago can run our state for us. Our crime rate is raising all over IL. Chicago gangs spread down the railroad lines to smaller cities and towns. People in IL are TIRED of CHICAGO LIBS running our state down the crapper.
