My girl friend's dad want to get her a new suv soon and i was wondering which you guy thopught is the best.... she already has the big lexus suv, but she like the new caddy (escalade) and the new yukon denali...... her dad will only buy a brand new car ,, so im talking about tha 2001-2002 models

well let just say that her family is very comfortable with the whole money situation. Her Dad just got one of the new porshe carrara 4's but he also has a Benz S600 that he drives and her mom drives a brand new 750il BMW.... not too mention their various houses (Malibu,Cancun,Maui,Paris,Rome,Cabo) i guess thats the life you get to live when you are a venture capitalist..

oh and i dont think that they are adopting any time soon

but she wants a luxury SUV.......... Think about it , if you had more money than god chances are you wouldnt want sell your 70K dollar Lexus LX470 just to get a common semi-luxurious eddiebauer expy that cost more like 40k dollars.... right

the deal is she can get basically any SUV she wants. but it has to be new.. her dad only buys new cars...(dont ask, i dont get it either)

 

i vote for the escalade. a friend of mine has one and it is badass!!!

the new 2002 Escolade is hands down the best lookin SUV on the market!
we looked at those when we bought our Jeep and it make the $34,000 Jeep look like a pinto!

You think the new Escalade is the best looking SUV on the market??? Personally I think the front-end looks as auful as most of the front-ends on the rest of the new model Cadillacs. Personally I'd MUCH rather have last year Escalade than this years. (And might I add I'd take the Tahoe for 10 grand less and IMHO have a significantly better looking truck.)

 

Just finally saw the new Escalade front end today... I thought, "Mountaineer meets Aztek." (i.e. BUTT UGLY!!!)

If she's lookin' for a luxury-ute... NAVIGATOR! Beautiful styling, all the features (except the Caddy on-star system), and still a Ford.

Of course I'm biased... the Ford products help my profit-sharing.
